Have you heard all the conflicting information out there about sunscreen? There are loads of opinions about which sunscreens are the best, why you should use them, why you should not use them, and even which ones cause cancer … um, isn’t that what sunscreen is supposed to protect you from in the first place? Where exactly can you turn for the best natural sunscreen information?
I came across this news spot from Katie Kimball at Kitchen Stewardship, and found out she has made testing safe and natural sunscreens one of her passions! Katie and her family have personally tested out over 80 non-chemical sunscreens since 2010! And now Katie has compiled all the information in one place on her blog.
Check out the great news piece she did below, and then click through to her blog under the video for more information. From the blog, you can even get a FREE printable guide to choosing sunscreens based on safe ingredients while you shop!

P.S. Just one more shout-out to Katie and Kitchen Stewardship. My kids have been taking Katie’s online cooking class, Kids Cook Real Food, and it is wonderful. I’ve found that my kids LOVE to cook, and it teaches them math, motor skills, following directions, and also helps me out in the kitchen! The course works for all skill levels, and different levels can even work together. Check out Kids Cook Real Food here!
